Austin Weber and Trey Fischer Sign With The Monarchs

Southaven,MS- The Mid-South Monarchs are proud to announce the signing of two forwards, 28-year-old Austin Weber and 25-year-old Trey Fischer. 

Austin Weber spent last season with the Baton Rouge Zydeco, skating in 46 games for the organization. He recorded seven goals and 11 assists for a total of 18 points. Weber is a Hoover, Alabama, native and has spent time in the FPHL with the Battle Creek Rumble Bees, Mentor Ice Breakers, Port Huron Prowlers, Delaware Thunder, Mississippi Sea Wolves, and the aforementioned Baton Rouge Zydeco.

Fischer served as an assistant captain last season with the Biloxi Breakers and is now reunited with the captain of that team, Lucas Piekarczyk. Trey, a native of Chilliwack, British Columbia, skated in 54 games last season, recording 10 goals and 10 assists for a total of 20 points. Fischer is another Monarch with previous FPHL experience, having suited up for the Port Huron Prowlers, Dashers Hockey Club, and HC Venom over the last few years.
