Mid-South Brings In Rookie Jackson Edwards

Southaven,MS- The Mid-South Monarchs are proud to announce the signing of 25-year-old forward Jackson Edwards. Standing at 5-foot-11 and 162 pounds, Edwards becomes the first player out of college to sign with the Monarchs this offseason.

Although originally from Toronto, Edwards spent his collegiate career with the Castleton University Spartans in NCAA Division III. He played four seasons with the Spartans, recording 17 goals and 30 assists. Edwards also demonstrated impressive discipline, spending just four minutes in the penalty box over 26 games this past season. The season prior, he recorded just two penalty minutes in 25 games.

The Monarchs add depth down the middle with Edwards and continue to round out their roster for what promises to be an electric inaugural season.
