Mid-South Sign High Scoring Forward Hunter Godmere

Southaven,MS- The Mid-South Monarchs are proud to announce the signing of 25-year-old forward Hunter Godmere.

The 6-foot-2, 209-pound forward from Lowell, Ontario, joins the Monarchs for his second stint in the FPHL, bringing additional size and offensive ability to an already strong forward group.

Godmere most recently played for the Quad City Storm of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), recording one goal and one assist in seven games. He also spent time overseas in Sweden’s HockeyEttan, where he tallied four goals in 17 games between two clubs.

During the 2024-25 season, Godmere suited up for 16 games with the Blue Ridge Bobcats of the FPHL, making an immediate offensive impact. He scored an impressive 17 goals while adding 10 assists for 27 points, averaging 1.7 points per game.

The addition of Godmere further strengthens the Monarchs’ forward group and gives the team another proven offensive threat heading into the inaugural 2026-27 season.
